My name is Shunichi Fujii, and I have been appointed as the chairman for this year.
As the new president of the Tokyo Riverside Rotary Club for 2023-2024, I would like to extend my greetings.

First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for being appointed to this prestigious position.My theme for this year is "entanglement".First, the meaning of entanglement generally refers to how different things are connected and interact with each other.I chose this theme because of how powerful our Rotary clubs are, how that power collectively works, and how much change we can make in the world as a result. to show

As members of Rotary clubs, we have a mission not only to have individual strengths, but also to be a greater force and to contribute to society as a whole and in tandem with other Rotary clubs and communities.We must remember that every action we take affects not only ourselves, but the entire club and the wider world.

This year, as a new attempt, we would like to deepen our contribution to society, with a particular focus on peace and mental health, under the spirit of "Let's create hope for the world."For that, we need the power of our entanglement.And to maximize the power of that entanglement, building trust between us is of utmost importance.I myself, together with all the members, will move forward step by step towards the new fiscal year.

Let us work together so that our activities can bring hope and influence to more people.Finally, I hope that 2023-2024 will be a successful year for all of us.

My name is Yuya Mizutani, and I was appointed by Chairman Fujii to take on the important role of secretary. It's been 2014 years since I joined in 10, and I've been studying myself through meeting various people and activities.This year, as the club secretary, I will take a step toward new growth, and I will do my best to contribute to the growth of the club. Chairman Fujii wrote that it would be entwined with the theme of this year's club and advocated "Rakugo".I recognize that this is a word for the club to take over the theme of the previous president Suzuki, "Tsunagu-tsunagu-" and move on to the next step.In other words, in the previous fiscal year, we proactively increased membership and created a vision that will lead to future club management, provided Kamaishi reconstruction support in a new way that connected with the local community, and at the 25th anniversary event, we reaffirmed the history of our club and celebrated the new 25th anniversary. It was an activity that led toIn Fujii's presidential year, we are asking that the activities that connect these dots be intertwined, and that a new Tokyo Riverside Rotary Club will be created by causing a chemical change.In order to realize this theme, I will manage the club for one year together with Chairman Fujii and the board members.

One of the big changes this year is the change in venue.An analysis by the Vision Committee has shown that there is a strong correlation between regular meetings and fellowship. We look forward to deepening our friendship.In addition, continuing from the previous year, the Vision Committee will continue to promote the “Riverside Pride” defined by the club, and promote plans that focus on future club operations.
